Trainers at Discovery Cove recently created Valentine’s Day ice cakes as holiday-themed enrichment for Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Ice is a favorite toy of the dolphins and by changing the color and shape of the ice cakes, trainers keep them interested and engaged in their daily training sessions. Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive tropical retreat featuring swimming with dolphins, snorkeling with rays and tropical fish, hand-feeding exotic birds and relaxing on pristine beaches.
