With all the headlines on swine flu, we’re focusing on one positive story about pigs this week.
Vicki introduces us to Rosie, a Yucatan Miniature Pig and the unofficial mascot of the Animal Rescue League of Boston. Three years ago, Rosie was found abandoned in a box crate on a downtown street. She is now thriving thanks to the care she’s received at ARL’s Dedham facilities, as well as a healthy diet that even includes her favorite treat, Dunkin’ Donuts munchkins!
Late last month, the cast of the Wheelock Family Theatre’s production of “Charlotte’s Web” got to meet Rosie. Get a front-row seat to their visit, by clicking on the video.
